The writer of this paper has focused on the critical study of Imᾱm Bazzᾱr’s opinion regarding the defect in prophetic traditions whether it is right as stated by his predecessor or not and has expressed his point of view after discussing the opinion of said author. The method adopted in this research paper is deductive and exemplary, therefore the discussion has supported by examples from the primary sources and with its evidences from other books of prophetic traditions.
