A Comparative Study of Jesus' Call in the Light of the Bible and Qur'an and Current Christian Mission and Evangelism

Abstract

The following article provides a comparative study of Jesus call in the light of the Bible and the Qur'an, along with a comparative study of the current Christian mission and evangelism with Jesus' call. The Qur'an repeatedly refers to the clear teachings of Jesus (PBUH) which clearly explain the doctrine of Tawheed and Prophet hood and the Hereafter. The mission of Jesus (PBUH) in the present Gospel is not explained in the same way as it is presented in the Qur'an. He was convinced of the worship of Allah, it is clear from his instructions. we will briefly review the teachings of Jesus (PBUH) in the Qur'an and his teachings in the present Gospel, which will make it clear what his original teachings were and how modern Christianity is operating.
