بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کے فروغ میں پاکستانی مسلم علماء کا کردار
The Role of Pakistani Muslim Scholars in promoting Interfaith Harmony
Abstract
Pakistan is a multi-religious country with a Muslim majority. Followers of each religion have their own beliefs and no one has the right to speak out about another's religion or beliefs. By understanding the differences, the commonalities of religions can be brought together. Pakistan needs to move forward with the same approach. In this regard, we have to take guidance from the life of the Holy Prophet. He introduced interfaith harmony and created a state of Madinah inhabited by people of three main religions, where peace, security and mutual respect prevailed. Tolerance and respect are an integral part of the teachings of Islam. Pakistan's Muslim scholars and researchers, following the same teachings of Islam, not only promoted interfaith harmony but also demonstrated it by their actions. There is a need for Pakistan to promote religious harmony in such a multi-religious country more than ever before so that people of different religions living here can work day and night with dedication and hard work and move Pakistan on the path of development.
