Abstract

Ahadῑth of the Prophet Muḥammad (SAW) are the 2nd basic origin and the functional translation of Qurᾱn as well. The defense of Ḥadῑth is made possible because of  Ṣaḥᾱba (R.A), Ṭᾱbi‘ῑn and Ṭab‘ Ṭᾱbi‘ῑn. They conveyed all those Ahadῑth constantly as it as to the three generations continuously. In Ṣaḥᾱba (R.A) there were few persons who narrated thousands of  Ahadῑth. In which ‘Ᾱyesha (RA) is the second in the list, who narrated 2210 Ahadῑth. But her comprehension, interpretation in narratives is more distinct and can be distinguished from others. We have discussed all these qualities in this research article. Not only she narrated the Ahadῑth but also interpreted the Islamic law by making correspondence of hadith by word and deed with events and historical stories. The main theme of thin study is that, what was ‘Ᾱyesha (RA) criteria in obtaining and acceptance of Ḥadῑth. From all these discussion it can be concluded that ‘Ᾱyesha (RA) interpreted all the narrations on the basis of her own experience, observations and according to the rules and regulations of Qurᾱn and sunnah. She tested and explained the Ḥadῑth not only she narrated but also interpreted which is the solid proof of her comprehension. In this article ‘Ᾱyesha’s investigation and comprehension of Ḥadῑth has been discussed in detail.
