Abstract

Prof. Dr. Fawad Sezgin is a well-known contemporary researcher who was originally from Turkey but lived in Germany for a long time. Since he was a student of Hellmut Ritter, a German Orientalist, most of his research work is in German. He served as the Head of the Institute of Historical and Islamic Studies at the University of Goethe, Frankfurt.At the same time, he completed the book "Geschichte des Arabischen Shrifttums", meaning the history of the Arab heritage. This great project was started by Carl Brockman's famous book "Geschihte der Arabischen Litteratur", meaning the history of Arabic literature. However, it later became a separate permanent book. This book gives an excellent overview of the capital of various sciences and arts in Arabic language from the beginning to the 330 h. The main purpose of the book is Quran, Hadith, History, Fiqh, Beliefs, Sufism, Poetry, Dictionary, Syntax, Rhetoric, Medicine, Zoology, Chemistry, Botany, Agriculture, Astronomy, Astronomy, Relics, Philosophy, Logic To introduce the work of Muslims and Arabs in various fields such as ethics, politics, sociology, geography, physics, geology and music and to point out the Arabic manuscripts found in these sciences all over the world. The Arabic translation of this book has been published many times under the name of Tarikh al-Tarath al-Arabi, meaning the history of Arabic heritage. It is only a matter of reviewing the work of Fawad Suzgin on his jurisprudence. What were the motivations for Dr. Fawad Sizgin's accumulation of valuable Islamic jurisprudence, and what effect did this have on jurisprudential discussions? And did Fawzi Sizgin work on Islamic jurisprudence in the context of Orientalist thought? In this article attempt these questions expiation.
